This project was a winner! Eighteen Lions and 60 neighborhood volunteers planted over 150 trees on cold and rainy morning in February. The tree planting was capped off by a terrific potluck lunch, which our club supported with great chili, desserts and chips. The tree pictured in front of the Piano Hosptial was dedicated to Ken Serviss, a Ft. Vancouver Lion and longtime manager of the Piano Hospitalm which teaches blind and visually impaired people to tune and repair pianos. Congratualtons Ken!

As the guest performance at this year's annual Concert to Benefit the Blind, this act was a big hit. Everyone in the audience was clapping, singing and trying hard to do the arm motions to spell out L.I.O.N. What FUN! I can't wait until we perform it again at the District Spring Confernce. Congrats to Roy Pulliam, the songwriter, and to all the performers - their energy and enthusiasm really got the crqwd going!

The scrapbook is awesone! It is very complete and beautifully designed. We thought the front and back cover idea was clever! What a terrific way to capture the club's activities. We found every club social and community service event represented. The photos are great, Nice Job! Len & Jen Leger

This was a fun event. We learned so much while planting our trees. How to plant them, care for them, proper selection for the area, etc. Also, it was good to learn that our community is busy planting these trees to make our city more ecologically sound.

Loved the scrapbook. So I ordered one. It is just the best and really paints a picture of what our Lions Club does for the community.
