Rain couldn’t stop them. On Friday, June 20th, at Fairway Village Golf Course, the Fort Vancouver Lions and Camas Lions hosted their 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament. It rained. It poured. But 64 spirited golfers showed up, grabbed their clubs, and hit the 9-hole course with heart and humor.

Why It Matters
Every dollar raised goes to charity. The Fort Vancouver Lions and Camas Lions support programs like vision screenings, food drives, and youth outreach.
Did you know? Golf balls fly farther in wet air. Moisture makes the air less dense, giving those rainy-day drives an unexpected boost. So even in the rain, those swings may have gone just a bit further.
